Phomea is Fabio Pocci, from Tuscany. His music mixes the most heart-felt indie folk with grunge distortions and electronic glitches. After the EP La Stessa Condizione (SalmoneRec) and the album Annie (MelaVerde) he publishes his first English album, Me And My Army.
Me And My Army is a multimedia project inspired by artists like Radiohead, Notwist, Bon Iver. Twelve songs, with the participation of twenty musicians (yep, the army). Each song matched by an AI-generated artwork. Three music videos and even an Instagram filter to turn your image into a glitch avatar. A work of sounds, words and images that tells a world where intelligence is artificial and reality is virtual.
Everyone is wrong, somehow. This is why we are all the same in this battle. No one is alone. Yes, it’s a war and this is my army.
