ONCEWERESIXTY
“The indie dream is actually over. We live in a post-apocalyptic land full of zombies. Anger and ignorance are everywhere. All is lost. Or maybe not.”
Onceweresixty combine lo-fi recording techniques, fuzzy guitars and irresistible melodies into songs that celebrate imperfection.
Formed by Marco Lorenzoni, Luca Sella and later joined by Enrico Grando, the band embraces a proudly DIY approach that values spontaneity over polish. Their music feels handmade in the best possible sense: raw, honest and full of character.
Ghostly keyboards, crooked rhythms and distorted guitars provide the backdrop for melodies that linger long after the songs are over. What might seem rough at first gradually reveals remarkable songwriting hidden beneath the surface.
Over the years, Onceweresixty have released two albums through Beautiful Losers and Uglydog Records, building a reputation as one of the most authentic voices of the Italian underground scene.

Two sides of the same strange universe. The first side collects five bittersweet indie-pop songs filled with melodies and nostalgia, while the second side dives into noisy psychedelia, crooked rhythms and beautiful imperfections.
Garage-recorded and proudly unpolished.
