NOWHERE
indie rock / lo-fi
From the raw, intimate lo-fi recordings to a posthumous collection of unfinished songs, Nowhere's music is a heartfelt glimpse into a lost artistic soul. Behind the moniker is Roberto Bonfissuto, a musician who left this world too soon in 2019.
Roberto was a singer, guitarist and pianist, crafting songs that carried the spirit of Syd Barrett’s psychedelia and the fragile honesty of lo-fi legends like John Frusciante and Mark Linkous. Though his tracks remained unfinished, they were filled with sincerity, nostalgia, and an unmistakable DIY charm.
After his passing, his brother Giulio decided to rescue these recordings from oblivion. He teamed up with Andrea Liuzza to restore and complete the songs, a process that took over a year. The result is Have You Done This Before?, a double album: one disc featuring the developed versions completed by Andrea, and the other presenting Roberto’s original demos.
Music is a way to transcend time, to preserve what could have been. Nowhere is the sound of a voice that was almost lost but now has the chance to be heard.
Have You Done This Before? will be released in 2025 under Beautiful Losers.

"Have You Done This Before?" is the first and only album by Nowhere — the moniker of Roberto Bonfissuto, a brilliant and unknown artist who left us too soon in 2019. This isn’t just a posthumous release; it’s a resurrection. Roberto’s intimate, lo-fi songs — equal parts Syd Barrett eccentricity and Mark Linkous fragility— were rescued from dusty hard drives and loving memory by his brother Giulio and producer Andrea Liuzza (Beautiful Losers, Are You Real?), who spent over a year restoring and completing the music without losing its raw soul.
This double album is a conversation across time. Disc one features Andrea’s finished productions — faithful, atmospheric reimaginings. Disc two gives us Roberto’s original demos, unfiltered and pure. Together, they form a hauntingly beautiful portrait of an artist the world never knew — but won’t forget. A work of grief, devotion, and creative grace.
