Kaouenn means “owl” in the old Breton language. This esoteric creature is the avatar of Nicola Amici, a French-Italian multi-instrumentalist. His music can only be described as a mix of tribal beats, psychedelic guitars and new wave vibes that take the listener into a shamanic trip.
Nicola had played guitar, bass and saxophone on several bands. But it’s under the influence of artists like Can, Popol Vuh, Ninos Du Brasil, Indianizer, C’mon Tigre that decided to launch his own solo project.
His first self-titled album is released in 2016 and followed by an European tour. During the concerts his music performance is amplified by evocative visual projections, being a true multi-sensorial experience. His new album Mirages was released with the support of several labels, including Beautiful Losers.
My music is a night trip into uncharted territories, supported by gut and survival instinct. You don’t know where you’re heading. That’s why it will be so exciting.

A journey through tribal beats, ethereal choirs and electronic textures. Inspired by long bycicle rides through the woods, Satori blends Zen atmospheres and futuristic sounds into a transcendtent listening experience.
