GINTSUGI

My music wraps shadows with light, exposing the beauty of our imperfections.
— Luna Paese

Gintsugi creates intimate and cinematic songs where piano, electronics and a haunting voice transform fragility into beauty.

The project takes its name from the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with precious metals, a philosophy that perfectly reflects the music of Luna Paese, the French-Italian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist behind the moniker.

Drawing from classical influences, alternative songwriting and atmospheric production, Luna builds delicate yet powerful compositions that explore vulnerability, memory and transformation. Her self-titled debut EP was produced by Victor Van Vugt, known for his work with Nick Cave, Beth Orton and Einstürzende Neubauten.

Her first full-length album, The Elephant In The Room, further developed this personal vision through a collaboration with Beautiful Losers. New music is scheduled for release in 2026.
