ALICE DI LAURO

The lyrics and the melody just flowed out of me. I use to sing to myself while I walk. That’s it.
— Alice Maddalena Di Lauro

Alice Di Lauro moves between alternative electronic pop, performance art and poetic experimentation, turning every song into an act of presence and transformation.

Her artistic journey began far from music. A self-taught tightrope walker in the streets of Venice, she later developed a personal language through performances, site-specific actions and artistic interventions in nature, galleries and abandoned spaces.

Music arrived naturally. After meeting producer Are You Real?, a spontaneous collaboration led to their first song together, Hunt Me Down. What started as an encounter soon became another way to explore the same themes that run through all of Alice’s work: listening, improvisation and openness to the unexpected.

Whether performing, singing or creating visual actions, Alice Di Lauro approaches art as a living experience rather than a finished object.
