A Red Idea blends dreamy indie rock, lo-fi textures and surreal songwriting into songs that feel suspended between melancholy, irony and wonder.
Behind the project is Alvise Forcellini, a Venice-based singer-songwriter whose music reflects a life spent travelling, observing and collecting fragments of stories from different places and people.
After years of writing and recording at home, layering guitars, vintage keyboards and intimate vocal performances, Alvise built a distinctive sonic world shaped by instinct rather than rules. His songs drift between reality and imagination, always guided by a strong melodic sensibility.
Discovered by Beautiful Losers, he released Bed Sea Walks and later expanded his vision with A Second I Will Forget, confirming A Red Idea as one of the label’s most personal and unpredictable voices.
